The Game

The following is a simple set of instructions as to how the game is played.

Objective

Assassins is based on Steve Jackson's game 'Killer'; the aim is to kill your friends safely, using whatever means possible. The game is played through elimination and once you are killed you are no longer an assassin (you may, however, join the undead). The winner is the last remaining assassin.

Order of Play

To enter the game you need to log in and register to play. When the game commences you will be emailed a list of targets, along with their course, home location and method of travelling to University. Using this information you have to track down your target and 'kill' them (check the weaponry rules to see how you can do this). But don't forget that other assassins may be after you.

Once you have eliminated your target you both need to agree on the assassination and then both (separately) log in to the website and record it. The assassin will then be emailed a new target, and the victim will be able to join the undead if they wish.

The Most Wanted List

If you don't complete an assassination each week then you will be placed on the most wanted list. You will then be hunted by the undead. Also, if you do something stupid or against the rules you will most likely be placed on the list.

The Undead

If you join the undead you may hunt down any targets on the most wanted list, or kill any assassins whose weapons are visible. Members of the undead cannot win the game.
